Then there us the physical exercise regime that you really need.
Looking at the Mother Nature and getting some fresh air can be really therapeutic, and even if you cannot go far, sitting near a window or opening the door and letting in some fresh air will be really amazing. The other way that you can improve your mood and become perkier is through playing with animals and children too. While watching the TV all day is not healthy, watching movies, TV shows, listening to music and even singing along can be amazing mood boosters and stress relievers.
This is also something that you can intersect with a hobby, like watching a documentary on some topic that you are researching on, watching food and travel channels and others things that you can actually do on your spare time. Charity work gives people a sense of accomplishment, purpose and also keeps them engaged, and this is another thing that you should take up.
